Hi, my name is Jonathan Brinker, and I’m 18 years old! I was born in Tupelo,MS , and at 18 months old we moved to Houma, LA where my father pastored Faith Baptist Church of Dulac.
At about the age of seven I made a false profession of faith, just following my friends, because it seemed like the right thing to do. After my dad had pastored there for 9 years he felt the Lord was calling us elsewhere. We then moved to Grenada, Mississippi where my dad pastored Elliott Baptist Church. It was there, at the age of 12, that I realized I was lost and asked Jesus into my heart. Also, while in Grenada, I started taking piano lessons, and my interest in music started to grow. After taking 8 months of piano, and learning the basics of music, I stopped taking lessons, and taught myself to play by ear. It was at this time, after pastoring 6 years at Elliott, the Lord led our family into Evangelism. We have now started traveling around America, Mexico, and Canada sharing the gospel and our burden for lost souls. As we traveled, many churches have given me the opportunity to sing and play the piano. I’ve had the blessing of meeting many talented vocalist and musicians who have taught and helped me greatly along the way. Please pray for me as I now attend Crown College to study music!
